There's a lot going on at the Coles County Memorial Airport! Among our current projects are: Ground Communication Outlet – is now operational!! Painting - the project to paint the roof on Building E is scheduled for summer. Building B Repairs – More doors and windows are scheduled to be installed this summer. Stop by and check it out. Electrical Duct Replacement – New electrical ducts will be installed across the apron this summer. Runway Repairs – Both runways will receive repairs and enhanced taxiway centerline markings will be painted on the taxiways this summer. Recent News Releases include: Airshow 08 - Plans for Air Show 08 are already underway - details will be added as they become available Auto Cross Dates - The Champaign County Auto Cross will continue to utilize the airport in 2008. Please check back for confirmed dates. Motorcycle Courses - 2008 classes are nearly complete. A schedule for 2008 will be posted in early spring 2008. WINGs weekend - scheduled for Friday July 11th and Saturday July 12th, 2008 Luscombe Fly In -scheduled for August 22-24, 2008 Localizer & Glidescope – will be out of service June 23 thru July 1, 2008.
